In a photo posted on both Zuckerberg and Chan’s Facebook timelines, the newly-married duo pose against a lush backdrop of foliage and a string of lights. The bride wears a stunning sleeveless wedding gown with lace overlay and the groom, who is notorious for favoring hoodies over haute couture, wears a black suit and tie.

The bride’s ring, which was rumored to have been designed by the groom, features a single ruby stone. The ruby is the July birthstone and is traditionally associated with the values of love, success, integrity, passion, and promise.

For our June cover, we completely indulged our feminine side with pearls, ruffles and pops of pink. Reem Acra’s ivory tulle pearl-beaded gown with a sweetheart neckline and organza ruffled skirt makes a dramatic statement (if you think it looks amazing on the cover, wait until you see the skirt in movement). We swept the hair in a loose chignon and paired it with classic makeup, including a Posy Pink lipstick, to keep the look fresh. Last but certainly not least, Livia Cetti for The Green Vase created a bouquet of sweet peas, ranunculus, anemones and peonies. What bride wouldn’t want to look this sweet on her wedding day?

If you don’t know Jessica Paré as the aspiring actress turned executive wife in the current season of Mad Men, you will soon enough, retro-TV fan or not. Paré covers this week’s New York magazine and just two weeks ago ascended the carpeted stairs of the Metropolitan Museum to join Anna Wintour, Tom Ford and the like for fashion’s biggest night of the year—two signs that Paré’s star is fast on the rise.

As one of many stars blanketing the museum gala that night in honor of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, Paré donned a gold L’Wren Scott design that hugged her slender figure and framed her décollage with a low-cut square neckline. Monique Lhuillier offered a similar bridal look in her Spring 2013 collection with an embroidered chiffon sheath accented at the waist by an embellished tulle bow.

In both gold and white, the look evokes a nuanced glamour beyond the scope of just another ingénue. If this is any indication of Paré’s signature style, this may only be the beginning of many wedding-day inspirations to come from the star. Jessica Chastain made quite the splash at this year’s Oscars, if you recall. So perhaps it’ll be time for another Jessica’s turn next year?

A fatal crash forced authorities to close the Baltimore-Washington Parkway for three hours Sunday morning, U.S. Park Police said.

The wreck occurred about 6:30 a.m., when a minivan traveling south crossed the median and slammed into a northbound sport utility vehicle near the exit for Maryland Route 193 in Greenbelt, Park Police Sgt.Paul Brooks said. The driver of the sport utility vehicle was killed, and the driver of the minivan was critically injured. That driver was rushed to a nearby hospital, Brooks said. No one else was injured.
